Planet Technology's direct client is looking for an SAP Technical Program Manager to join their team on a full time permanent hire basis. In this postiion you will develop and support the management of strategic goals, objectives, budgets, priorities, and projects for SAP IT programs or associated technologies, working closely with the director, manager, and customer stakeholders. An in-depth understanding of the principles and practices related to SAP and SAP-based information system development, as well as computing, communications, and networking infrastructure, e-business technologies, project management, and standards relevant to electric utility information systems is required to be successful in this position.
Our client is based in Hawaii and requires their employees to also be located in Oahu, Maui or the Big Island.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of working level experience in IT/IS management
- 5+ years of experience in technical development and maintenance of SAP applications and/or systems
- 5+ years of experience developing interfaces and working with databases
- Strong demonstration of project management competency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
